UNMIK deputy head visits Decani Monastery, voices concern over provocative graffiti
 
14 October 2014 – The Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General (DSRSG) in Kosovo, Jennifer Brush, today visited the Decani Monastery, whose property was recently defaced with religiously offensive graffiti.
 
In separate meetings with Father Sava Janjic from the Monastery, and the Mayor of Decan/Decani, Mr. Rasim Selmanaj, DSRSG Brush voiced concern about the recent vandalism and expressed UNMIK’s hope that the Monastery and town would find a way to coexist peacefully.
