UN tribunal convicts five top Serbian officials of war crimes in Kosovo
26 February – The United Nations war crimes tribunal set up after the Balkan conflicts of the 1990s today convicted five former high-ranking Yugoslav and Serbian officials for crimes against humanity, while former Serbian president Milan Milutinovic was acquitted of all charges.

10 February – The United Nations war crimes tribunal set up in the wake of the Balkan conflicts of the 1990s has ordered the provisional release of a former Kosovo official who has completed a three-month sentence for contempt of court for witness tampering during the trial of former prime minister Ramush Haradinaj.
