THREE DEAD IN LESHANE SHOOTING

Police have detained one male in connection with a shooting in Leshane Village that has left three men dead.

At about 2:00 p.m. on October 27 a vehicle containing three men was driving through the village. The car contained Uke BYTICI, the Suva Reka Municipality President and two associates.

An obstruction in the road caused the vehicle to stop. The occupants left the car and came under fire by a gunman.

All three were struck and fatally injured.

The victims were taken to Prizren Hospital, where two were pronounced dead. Mr. BYTICI later died from his injuries.

Also taken to hospital with a gunshot wound was a male believed to be the suspect in the shooting. His injuries are not serious and he is now in police custody.
