DEATH OF ZOLTAN BADIS WAS NOT MURDER

Shortly after 7 pm on July 31, Police were called to the Students Centre Building at the University of Pristina where a Hungarian student had been found dead in his room.

Attending the scene were four police investigators, three Forensic Units, an Investigative Judge and a Doctor from the Ambulance Service.

The body of Zoltan BADIS was carefully examined and NO signs of violence were found . There were NO visible external injuries and no evidence of a struggle in his flat.

Nothing suggested that his death was the result of criminal action.

A post mortem has been carried out and confirms that NO violence was inflicted upon Mr BADIS. Further tests are being carried out to confirm the medical reason for death but it appears that this was entirely due to natural causes.

Articles in the Serbian press have alleged that Mr BADIS was 'slaughtered'
and that his throat was cut. It has also been stated that an autopsy confirmed a violent death. These are blatant lies that can only cause further distress to the family.
