The ITC is centrally located within Pristina the capital of Kosovo. The Training Center occupies the ground and first floor of the old transient hotel. It is only few hundreds meters far from UNMIK Police HQ.

Weapons testing
Our primary range, no frills, just the basics. However, all weapons testing begin with a safety lecture. Our backup range, we unfortunately have only limited access to this KFOR facility, located 20+ kilometers from the training center.

KPS officers in training session
Working together with OSCE, the Center assists in training all incoming UNMIK Police Officers to become competent Field Training Officers for the Kosovo Police Service.
All Kosovo Police Service (KPS) Officers receive in-service instruction at the center, as part of their phased field training program for professional development
We have increased the number of in-service training instructors at the Center, allowing us to deliver a more responsive training regime to the officers in the field, at their assigned regional centers, saving time and money. We are currently re-evaluating all courses offered at the center, comparing classroom hours and their content with objective internal tests, the end result, a desire to maximize educational content and minimize down time.
