Wedneday, 17 April 2002 - SRSG Michael Steiner will hold a press briefing following his meeting with Serbian Deputy PM Nebojsa Covic.

12 noon in the UNMIK DPI Press Centre

Mr. Steiner will talk about the proposed Serb participation in the institutions of provisional self-government and about the situation in Mitrovica. From the press briefing, Mr. Steiner will go to the office of the Prime Minister where he will hand over copies of the draft regulations on developing the Kosovo Trust Agency (12:30 p.m., Government Building).

Mr. Steiner will also hold a joint press briefing with Mr. Javier Solana at 3:15 p.m. in the UNMIK HQ building.
