Families of Missing Invited to Exhibition of Photographs and Personal Effects

PRISTINA - The Office on Missing Persons and Forensics and the UNMIK Police Missing Persons Unit have organized an exhibition of photographs of clothing and personal effects from mortal remains found in a mass grave in Petrovo Selo (Serbia).

Some of the exhumed remains may belong to people killed in the village of Izbice in March 1999. The viewing of the clothes and personal effects will help in the identification and repatriation of these remains.

The exhibition is being held in Skenderaj, in the Youth section of the Cultural Centre on the 24th and 25th of September 2002, between 10am and 4pm.

The ICRC is supporting the photo exhibition by informing the concerned families and by facilitating their transport to and from the exhibition.

The photos to be shown in Skenderaj may also be seen in a photo book, newly published by the ICRC and available in all of their offices.
