Exhibition of clothing and personal effects at the
Rahavec/Orahovac mortuary
The Office on Missing Persons and Forensics (OMPF), in close cooperation
with UNMIK Police Missing Persons Unit of (MPU) and the International
Commission of Missing Persons (ICMP), will hold an exhibition of clothes
and personal effects of approximately 30 victims recovered from Petrovo
Selo (Serbia Proper) today (Monday 7th) and Tuesday 8th July 2003.
According to available information, the associated mortal remains may
belong to missing persons from the events of Izbice/Izbica, Qirez/Cirez
and Bogice/Bogica. Families of persons who disappeared in those events
are invited to the exhibition.
The clothing exhibition will take place at the Rahovec/Orahovac mortuary
from 1000 to1500 hours. Families will be transported by bus from Skenderaj/Srbica
and Gllogovc/Glogovac.
The schedule of buses organised to transport those who wish to visit
the exhibition is as follows:
· Monday 7 July 2003: Skenderaj/Srbica, 0900 hours at the main
bus station
· Tuesday 8 July 2003: Gllogovc/Glogovac, 1000 hours at the main
bus stations
Separate rooms will be available at the exhibition for UNMIK CIVPOL Missing
Persons Identification officers. OMPF encourages family members to give
blood in order to facilitate the identification processes. Psychological
support and first aid will also be available
