Krasniqi for 20 years works for company
“kombinati i drurit” in Peja.
He as
many other Kosovar SOE workers waited impatiently privatization of the factory
that he works
Not only
for he’s hope that the new owner will start the company again,but also for 20 % workers share that comes from the sale
of the company
The
company that muhamet works in was privatized in march 2003.
And only
last month workers of the “Kombinati I
Drurit received they’re money from 20
%.
Approximately
4000 euro each.
Actuallity-Muhamet Krasniqi
This 20
that is dedicated to the workers ,it took pretty longt time for us to get
it.Many of the workers has taken loans,counting on this money,and now they have
to give the loan back.But still I think that this money will help us a lot
According
to the rules 20 % of the workers from the sale of the company it’s shared as
like this.
75 % of
this sum are shared equally ,and other 25 based on the working years of the
workers
If for
example the company it’s osld for 1 milion euro ,the workers are supposed to
get 200.000.
And if
the number of the workers is 100 then 75 % would mean 1.500 euro per worker,and
other
50.000
would be divided based on the working
experience
20%
shared according to rules should be given to the workers no more than 3 months
after the ratification of the sales contracts for they’re company.
But so
far this procedure has taken approximately 1 year as in case of “Kombinati I
drurit”
Gani
Bajrami from Kosovo trust agency explains the reasons of delay.

“Delays
were caused ,by the delay of the ratificationof the contracts from the 1 and 2
raund of the privatization.
Second
reason are delayed decisions from the special Chamber of supreme court that
deals with privatization.
And KTA
can not give the money without the final decision of the special Chamber.”
Bajrami
adds that now is expected that this procedure goes faster ,because lately there is certain dynmisatin is seen on the whole process,and the other
reason is that special chamber is beein more efficient,and more experienced.
Although
not big amount the money from 20 % is welcomed for Kosovar economy .
Firstly
because they help to the workers of the ex SOE’s
And
secondly this money marks a contribution to the Kosovars Cash Market .
