Since when have you been in Kosovo ? Just remember the very first time you arrived, you would have love that someone takes care of you ? would you ?

You came in Kosovo for work ? In a misson or in an organization ? Short term or unlimited term ? or maybe you come in Kosovo just to settle with you family all together ?

Until from now, and very often, you’re only chance to find the right information was to count on yourself or somebody very kind.

Today, you have a third way and maybe the best that called “contact”. But basically, let’s see what contact is ? Let’s Mimosa, the head of that new provider, explain us.

The company CONTACT is a company that offers services for foreigners who are living and working in Kosovo. We offer help in finding apartments, help to pick up people at airport, we have the database for sports and places to visit in Kosovo, to help to integrate themselves in Kosovo and show them Kosovo from another view.

You are not very convinced about the utility of that kind of service ? All right. Now, take a foreigner point of view, outside from Kosovo. For example, imagine you are living in Canada, France, United States or Somewhere else. You have a one year mission in Kosovo, and you have to be ready to work in your duty station in one month. Nobody can help you, you just have to count on yourself. Good luck on the web ! it’s very hard to find all the informations you need.

Let’s ask Mimosa how come to her the idea of Contact ?

The company CONTACT is established from the fact that I know many of foreigners here and there has been always same stories from them, as they can’t find apartments, it’s difficult to communicate with Albanians as they don’t speak English, etc. So the idea was to help the foreigners to integrate.

Now the only need for contact is a little bit publicity so that to be known. How to get in touché which contact ? And what do they plan in the future ?
