According to the Kosovan National Institute for Public Health, currently only 0.2 percent of domestic food products for every 1000 inhabitants are tested, leaving 99 percent of these products without any quality controls for food safety.

March 01 2004 - Serb Family returns to Prishtina- By Zoran Culafic

In early January of this year the elderly Mitrovic couple returned to live in their former home in Pristina after spending 5 years wandering from various refugee camps in Serbia, forced to flee Kosovo during the armed conflict in 1999 - To date, the Mitrovic couple is the first Serb family to return to Pristina.
