The five
Community Information Centres (CIC's) - one for each of the five administrative
regions, were originally funded by the UN Human Security Trust Fund
through a donation from the government and people of Japan. They have
now been integrated into UNMIK's Division of Public Information, Press
office.
Each of the centres has got by two information assistants, who among other
tasks contribute to UNMIK’s monthly magazine in Serbian language,
“Danas i Sutra”. This popular magazine on 12 pages presents
the most important events for the minority communities in Kosovo in
an objective and impartial manner. “Danas i Sutra” as the
main product of the Community Information Centres has shown to be of
great importance to isolated communities, returnees or internally displaced
persons who are looking for more information on the ground.
