This is the UNV in Kosovo website
The United Nations Volunteers (UNV) programme is the UN organization that contributes to peace and development through volunteerism worldwide.
In Kosovo, United Nations Volunteers from around the world work with the UN Mission (UNMIK), as well as with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the agencies, funds and programmes that constitute the United Nations Kosovo Team (UNKT).
UNVs contribute to peace-building and peace-consolidation in Kosovo, work to enhance civil society participation, and raise awareness on local community issues and sustainable human development from the perspectives of Millennium Development Goals (Poverty, Gender and Environment).
The programme embraces volunteerism as universal and inclusive, and recognises the values that sustain it: free will, commitment, engagement and solidarity.
